A manager was having an issue with employees putting the trash outside the back door vs walking it the extra 15ft to the dumpster. When asked who was doing this, no one spoke up and the problem persisted unless management was micromanaging taking out the trash or doing it themself. This caused a stinky mess and potentially a safety issue behind the back door, something an inspector wouldn’t overlook.

SOLUTION: The store began using Jolt Lists and created the task “Take trash out and place it in the dumpster”.
